ABOUT IMMACULÉE
Immaculée Ilibagiza is a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide that took the lives of nearly one million people, including her parents and two brothers. Immaculée survived by hiding with seven other women for 91 days in a 3-foot by 4-foot bathroom. During those 91 days of unimaginable suffering, Immaculée taught herself English and found her faith. Prayer transformed her life from fear to courage, hatred to love, and gave her the ability to forgive those who murdered her family.
Captured in her New York Times best-selling book, Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Genocide, the story of how she overcame her deep anger and was able to forgive the people who killed her family is both inspiring and unforgettable.
